Last night I took the opportunity, not to receive an award but to witness a dear friend be honoured and celebrated. George Lucas paved the way for so many of today's movie directors and movies today, he's one of the greatest visionaries that went far beyond his time to create something magnificent. Because of his genius, his vision, movies have progressed into what they are today. It was an honour to be there with him and be able to share the experience with he and his beautiful wife Mellody.
