Hello lewis I just wanted to know how tall are you? And what height you should be to drive an f1 car

Answer:

Hi, I’m 1.74m, so I’m not overly tall. In Formula 1, it's potentially a disadvantage to be too tall , as generally, the taller you are, the harder it can be to fit into the cockpit, which is quite a squeeze even for somebody like me! Having said that, there are very successful tall drivers in the sport, guys like Jenson and Mark Webber. Size is a challenge because you need a fair amount of physical strength just to be able to drive the car and withstand the g-forces. You also need to be able to see out of the car! Even for me, there are times when the team will try a new seating position, or a new cockpit camera housing, and they make it really hard to see over the top of the monocoque! So there's not only one height that's perfect. Drivers of all sizes work with their teams to make it work
