Lewis becomes Ambassador for The Prince's Trust

Friday, 30 November 2007

The Prince's Trust have invited Lewis to become an ambassador for their charity. Chosen because they saw him as a role model to young people, and someone who has proven that with determination and perseverance they can succeed in life. Annie Lycett, Head of Ambassadors said "The Trust is delighted that Lewis accepted and see him as an inspiration to young people right across the world".

Lewis is clearly pleased to be involved; after attending an Invest in Futures dinner last year at the Roundhouse, where Joss Stone performed, he was very impressed by speaker Mark Johnson who had changed his life around with the help of The Prince's Trust. "It is fitting that I can support a youth charity that gives the UK's most disadvantaged young people the confidence and skills they need to realise their potential. Everybody deserves that chance."
